Background: With steady progress being made to maximize energy efficiency in residential building operation, the concept of NetZero Energy Homes (NZEHs) has emerged as an ultimate solution, where a NZEH is defined as a home which produces approximately as much energy as it consumes on an annual basis. This Collaborative Research and Development (CRD) project is conducted in corporation with Landmark Group of Builders (LGB).
Summary: Comprehensive results including market acceptance, optimal design scenarios, energy performance, and life cycle analysis (LCA) of NZEHs are achieved from this research.
