NSERC Industrial Research Chair in the Industrialization of Building Construction

Gurjeet Singh

Research Interests

Gurjeet Singh is a research assistant with the IRC research team. Mr. Singh has extensive expertise in the area of building information modelling and the use of CATIA, Revit, and 3ds Max. He graduated with an MEng in Construction and Engineering Management from the University of Alberta, and his research focus encompasses BIM, lean construction, and data collection and analysis.

Current Research

Gurjeet has an extensive background in 2D and 3D visualization and modelling. Recently he has been involved in a project evaluating energy efficient wall systems for wood frame buildings using various data analysis and visualization techniques. Gurjeet has also been collaborating with a team to develop state-of-the-art computer numerical control (CNC) machinery for the purpose of increasing productivity and decreasing costs within the construction manufacturing sector.
