Yining Wang

Research Interests:

Yining’s research focuses on using BIM technology to obtain automatic quantity take-off, combined with simulation tools, to provide accurate cost estimation for modular construction.

Background:

Yining has a bachelor’s degree in Cost Engineering. She has experience in cost estimation and scheduling. In her undergraduate program, she managed to use BIM technology to retrieve automatic quantity take-off and develop a material procurement plan.

Current Research:

Yining is currently participating in research with the drafting team. The aim of this team is to turn conventional 2D drawings into 3D models and provide drawings of frame design for modular construction companies.
