Aladdin Alwisy

Research Interests

Aladdin's research interests lie in digitizing the multidisciplinary design process of construction projects in order to improve the performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability of buildings while seeking to reduce the overall lifecycle cost.

Current Research

Dr. Alwisy's research focuses on the development of innovative multidisciplinary frameworks and paradigms that bridge the gap between the state-of-the-art and state-of-practice with regard to leading construction management techniques such as building information modelling (BIM), green building design, and costing. As such, the digitization of the design process is expected to continually promote the adaptation of new concepts, Industry 4.0 for example, by introducing automated and semi-automated tools that simplify the implementation process for construction practitioners.
