Editorships

As of 2022, Dr. Robinson Fayek has served as the Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering Associate Editor in Construction, the Algorithms Section Editor in Evolutionary Algorithms and Machine Learning, and the Sustainability Section Editor in Energy Sustainability. She has been Guest Co-Editor of a Special Issue on Decision Support Systems for Improving the Construction and Maintenance of Renewable Energy Projects for Sustainability (Volume 12, No. 13), a Special Issue on Fuzzy Hybrid Systems for Construction Engineering and Management for Algorithms (Volume 13, No. 7), and a Special Issue of the ASCE Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering on Construction Engineering and Management (Volume 39, No. 9). She has also contributed as Specialty Editor (Cost and Schedule) for the ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management and Assistant Specialty Editor (Quantitative Methods) for the ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management.

Dr. Robinson Fayek also served as Editor for the groundbreaking textbook Fuzzy Hybrid Computing in Construction Engineering and Management: Theory and Applications, published in October 2018 by Emerald Publishing. As editor, Dr. Robinson Fayek brought together chapters by 32 researchers from 11 countries, covering a wide cross-section of the latest theories and uses of fuzzy hybrid techniques in the field of construction engineering and management. This guide for students, researchers, and practitioners discusses basic theory related to fuzzy logic and fuzzy hybrid computing, their application in a range of practical construction problems, and emerging and future research trends.
