Getaneh Gezahegne Tiruneh, PhD Candidate
Getaneh received his BSc and MSc degrees in civil engineering from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He is currently studying how organizational competencies are connected to performance in the construction industry, and his research interests also include fuzzy hybrid modeling techniques.
 
Nebiyu Kedir, PhD Student
Nebiyu received his BSc in civil engineering and his MSc in structural engineering from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. His research interests lie in applications of fuzzy logic and artificial intelligence, including modeling productivity and crew motivation and performance.
 
Hamed Fateminia, PhD Student
Hamed completed his studies in industrial engineering and project management at the Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran. His research interests include risk management, decision support systems, and optimization. He is incorporating fuzzy system dynamics with machine learning and optimization to improve the risk management process.
 
Yisshak Tadesse Gebretekle, PhD Student
Yisshak completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees in civil and structural engineering at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. His interests include applications of artificial intelligence, fuzzy logic, and hybrid computing in construction management. He is currently exploring the relationships between factors affecting productivity.
 
Sara Ebrahimi, MSc Student
Sara completed her undergraduate degree in industrial engineering at the University of Tehran, Iran. Her research interests include artificial intelligence, optimization, and fuzzy logic. She is focusing on improving the assessment of construction labour productivity by integrating fuzzy data mining and artificial intelligence techniques.
 
Mohammad Matin Kazerooni, MSc Student
Matin completed his undergraduate studies in industrial engineering at the University of Tehran, Iran. His research interests include fuzzy logic, modeling, and simulation. He is currently working on a decision support system to assess construction labour productivity and suggest improvement strategies using a database and artificial intelligence techniques.
 
Sahand Somi, MSc Student
Sahand completed his undergraduate degree in civil engineering at the University of Tabriz, Iran. His research interests include applying artificial intelligence techniques such as fuzzy logic and machine learning to solve problems in the construction industry. He is currently working on improving the risk assessment of wind farm projects.
 
Kassa Tarekegn Demissie, MEng Student
Kassa completed his BSc and MSc degrees in construction management in Ethiopia and the United Kingdom. His research interests involve digital solutions for improving performance and competitiveness. He is currently developing a fuzzy decision support tool for digitalization implementation in the industrial construction sector.
