Consortium for Engineered Trenchless Technologies (CETT)

Industrial Research Chair

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council’s (NSERC) Industrial Research Chair (IRC) program supports mutually beneficial collaboration between Canadian universities and public- or private-sector organizations. Through IRC grants, universities can advance research in existing areas of strength or develop expertise where emerging needs have been identified.

Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows working under an IRC are challenged to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world context, while industry partners receive the benefits of working with state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly skilled potential future employees. These partnerships result in economic, social or environmental benefits for all Canadians.
