The University of Alberta Faculty of Engineering is one of the top engineering schools in Canada.
The Engineering Co-op Program is a five-year undergraduate degree program consisting of five, four-month work terms combined with eight academic terms. Individual program sequences may include 8-month or 12-month employment periods (back-to-back work terms) at points in the program. The last term in a co-op student's program must be an academic term.
Work term schedules and recommended course sequences for all engineering disciplines are described in the University Calendar.
Questions about academic course selection should be referred to your discipline department office.
