Co-op Program

Employer Final Evaluation of Student Work Term Performance

Employer evaluations of students are due on the last day of the work term, (i.e., end of December/April/August). Students should ensure that their supervisor completes and forwards these evaluations to the Department on time. When evaluations are not received on time, the procedure will be as follows:

(a) Student to contact supervisor and ask that evaluation be completed.
(b) If the above is not successful, the student should contact the Co-op office and the supervisor will be contacted by Co-op staff to obtain either the written evaluation or a verbal assessment of the student’s performance.
(c) If the employer evaluation is impossible to obtain, a student's grade shall be assigned based on the interim evaluation and work term report.

Student may appeal grades through existing faculty/university appeal procedures.
