Work Experience Terms

The Engineering Co-op Program is a five-year undergraduate degree program consisting of five 4-month work terms combined with eight academic terms. Individual program sequences may include 8-month or 12-month employment periods (back-to-back work terms) at points in the program. The last term in a co-op student's program must be an academic term.

Work term schedules and recommended course sequences for all engineering disciplines are described in the University Calendar .

Questions about academic course selection should be referred to your discipline department office.
