Field Research Info Session

The Field Research Office is holding an information session for UAlberta researchers (academics, students and staff) involved in research activities off-campus.  There will be short presentations from FRO, UAlberta fleet safety officer, and EHS representatives who will answer all your questions.

 Tuesday, February 11, 2020, 2:00 - 4:30 pm 
University of Alberta, location to be decided  
Faculty, Graduate Students, Postdoctoral Fellows, Undergraduates, Research Staff involved in field research

Please RSVP online by February 7th, 2020 as there will be light refreshments provided  Also,  to qualify to win a door prize you must RSVP.

**Before the info session, we will be running a quick training session (from 12:30 to 1:30 pm) on the EHS Hazard Assessment Web Application (HAWapp). This will give you knowledge to complete Section 3 (the hazard assessment part) of your Field Activities Plan!  More details to follow if you are interested.

2019 Photo Contest

Every year, we also host an annual photo contest.
To enter, please fill out this Google  form and submit your photographs online within the form.  The winners will be notified at the beginning of January and presented with the awards at the Field Research Information Session to be held on February 11th.
