Hard to believe, but it's been almost a year since the final 'Weekend at Levy's' video aired! The Indigenous Canada Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) has reached over 389,000 registrants, and continues to educate the public about Indigenous histories and contemporary realities in Canada.

In recognition and celebration of a year since the original MOOC video series, we are inviting you to join the Faculty of Native Studies for Reconnecting with Indigenous Canada. Dr. Tracy Bear, Dr. Paul Gareau, and Dan Levy are reuniting for an amazing discussion as they hear from graduates of the MOOC!

How has taking the MOOC provided you with enduring skills and competencies to be advocates and actors for change in your personal lives and professional responsibilities? Where are we now?...Where are you now?...And where are we going?

This special event coincides with the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. People interested in supporting survivors of residential schools can also find more information through the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation as well as the Legacy Hope Foundation.
