About Dr. Domale Keys

Dr. Domale Keys
Dr. Domale Keys holds a PhD from UCLA in Social Science and Comparative Education with a graduate certificate in Women's and Gender Studies. She joins the WGS department from the University of Virginia. She is author of refereed journal articles in Frontiers and Feminist Review; her forthcoming monograph, titled "For the Survival of Ogoni People: Women's Contribution to Movement-Building in Nigeria and the United States", was awarded the 2020 University of Illinois Press and NWSA Book Prize.

About the Sexual Assault Centre

The U of A Sexual Assault Centre (UASAC) provides drop-in crisis intervention support to survivors of sexual violence and their supporters, as well as comprehensive educational workshops for the campus community. We actively work towards creating a campus community free of sexual violence and operate from a feminist, anti-oppressive, intersectional, trauma-informed, and person-centred framework.
