The U of A Coalition for Action on High Risk Drinking (CAHRD) is pleased to introduce the alcohol-free Satellite Stage as an alternative to the traditional beer gardens during the Week of Welcome. Students who do not drink will have a comfortable and inclusive space to participate in activities, connect with other students, and relieve back-to-school stresses without the presence or pressures associated with alcohol.
Enjoy non-alcoholic beverages and meat or vegetarian food for purchase, live musical performances, dancers, trivia and drag bingo to celebrate the return to campus. Harm reduction information will be available for those interested in substance awareness on campus. This event is not exclusive to non-drinkers, and all interested students are welcome. - Audience
