North American Occupational Safety and Health Week is intended to raise awareness of injury and illness prevention strategies in the workplace. In recognition of the event, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) invites U of A staff and students to participate in the 7-Day Safety Challenge, play a round of JEOPARDY! (The Incident Edition), or attend a workshop about annual planning or incident reporting. Whether you're working or learning at the U of A, stay safe!

Learn about common workplace injuries at the U of A and take steps to prevent injuries in the workplace, whether you're working from home or on campus.

JEOPARDY! The Incident Edition

What kinds of workplace incidents happen at the U of A? How can you report them or, better yet, prevent them from happening? Put a team together and sign-up!

HSE Annual Planning Workshop

Learn how, why, and when to build an annual plan for your Health, Safety, and Environment committee. We'll discuss the HSE management system, dashboard expectations and process, how to craft achievable goals, and more! Open to HSE committee chairs, alternates, and any other interested committee members.

Incident Reporting for Supervisors

Calling all supervisors! When staff or students submit an incident report, you'll automatically be notified. Learn how to access the report, assign corrective actions, and more. Intended for managers, PIs, and anyone who directs the work of others at the U of A.
