A Beading Dialogue: Beading and the Legacy of Indian Residential Schools

In many Indigenous cultures, beading provides a vehicle for dialogue. In this course, participants will build basic beading skills while learning about the history of the Indian Residential Schools and their inter-generational effects. Participants will create a beaded story medallion based on their understanding of the Indian Residential Schools, reconciliation and the importance of visual arts.
