Overview

In the highly competitive environment of property and casualty insurance, successful employees invest in continuing education to enhance their knowledge and acquire leadership skills that will advance their careers in this rapidly changing sector. Awarded by the Insurance Institute of Canada, the Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) is the highest professional designation in Canada’s property and casualty insurance industry. 

The FCIP program provides a comprehensive business education along with a deeper knowledge of the core functions of insurance. Participants in this program will develop broad industry knowledge, business skills, and strategic thinking that will allow them to advance their careers and become agents of innovation and growth at their organizations.

Program Plan

The FCIP program (original track) is comprised of ten courses that must be successfully completed so you can apply for the designation.

Tuition & Fees

  • Tuition is paid on a course-by-course basis as you register for your classes; courses are GST-exempt.
  • Some courses require a textbook at an additional cost.
