CCOHS Dick Martin Scholarship Award
Award: $3,000 – Apply by January 31
Eligibility: any student enrolled either full time or part time in an Occupational Health and Safety-related course or program at an accredited college or university in Canada leading to an OH&S certificate, diploma, or degree.
OHS Healthy Workplaces Award
Award: $1,000 – Apply by January 31
Eligibility: restricted to current students and graduates of the University of Alberta, Faculty of Extension's Occupational Health and Safety Certificate and/or Professional Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

Gary Wagar Scholarship
Award: $1,000 – Apply by February
The Alberta Construction Safety Association, in partnership with the University of Alberta, awards $500 to a candidate who has completed the National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation to use toward their Occupational Health and Safety Certificate program.
Health & Safety Administrator (HSA) Scholarship
Award: $1,000 – Apply by February
The Alberta Construction Safety Association awards their Health & Safety Administrator (HSA) candidate $500 toward their Occupational Health and Safety Certificate program.

CSSE OHSE Student Writing Awards Program
Award: $200 $500 – Apply by April 30
Granted by the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE), the Student Writing Awards Program aims at stimulating interest among OHS students in the exposition or argument for or against, or research on, OHS issues and to recognize outstanding achievement in this endeavour. Writing may stem from assignments in an OHSE course or be separate, original, self-generated compositions of interest to the student (3,000 words or less).

CSSE OHSE Bursary Program
Award: $500 – Apply by December 31
As part of their ongoing objective to support people who have chosen to pursue a career in Occupational Health and Safety, the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering is offering bursaries in support of students registered in a 1, 2, or 3-year OHSE program (full time or part time) at the undergraduate level at an accredited university or college in Canada.
