Series Overview

The Workplace Wellness Leadership series is designed to empower managers, HR personnel, and OHS professionals to design, create, and lead workplace health and wellness initiatives, while addressing the psychological hazards and elements needed to overcome them. In this series of three seminars, learners will examine the key leadership concepts and skills necessary to effectively lead workplace wellness initiatives for their organizations.

Audience

This series is designed for mid-level managers and supervisors who are developing workplace wellness programs in their organizations. Students may come from a wide range of employment sectors, including private, government, education, and non-profit.

Program Plan

The series consists of three workshops, each designed to provide skills in implementing the “Healthy Workplaces Framework.”  Students may take all three courses as part of the series, or take individual courses and earn hours toward their OHS certificate seminar requirements.

 

Alternatively, students who complete the series and wish to continue with their education may be granted 35 hours of seminar exemption toward a certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.


Once all three workshops have been successfully completed, students can request an official Workplace Wellness Leadership series Notice of Completion.

Qualifications & Admission

There are no prerequisites or entrance requirements to take the courses within the series. Prior knowledge of content area, however, is recommended. Courses may be completed individually or within the series.

Tuition & Fees

  • Tuition is paid on a course-by-course basis as you register for each workshop.
