This Indigenous Visual Literacy series is designed to enhance skills and bridge understanding of the historical relationship between Canada and ayisîniwak (beings of this land) through art-integrated experiential learning.  Learners will be introduced to Indigenous worldviews, nȇhiyawewin (Cree language), and ways of being through introductory art experiences including beadwork, painting, and land art.

This series is open to anyone who wants to expand on their creativity skills through learning about Indigenous histories, cultures and connections to this land.

Qualifications & Admission

These courses have no prerequisites, and no application procedures are required for enrolment. We suggest enrolling early to avoid disappointment, as some classes fill up quickly.
