After You Apply

Finalizing your admission

Once you have submitted your online or offline program admission application along with your application fee payment:

1. Wait for your Letter of Acceptance

Within 5 business days: the Extension Student Service Office will process your application. You will receive an email regarding your UAlberta Campus Computing ID (CCID) and a temporary password.

  • The CCID will allow you to access your UAlberta Email account, Bear Tracks (our student portal) and many other campus resources.

Once you have received this email, wait approximately two business days for your Letter of Acceptance:

2. Get a Canadian Study Permit (if necessary)

Submit a copy of your Letter of Acceptance to your local Canadian Embassy or Consulate in support of your application for a Canadian Study Permit.
