Online Academic English for Undergraduate Admission (EAP)

     
 

This spring and summer we are offering EAP 135, 140 and 145 English for Academic Purposes online.

 
  Course content is the same as face-to-face classes but taught online in a synchronous and asynchronous format. Students will have the opportunity to interact with their instructor daily and receive personalized feedback.  
     


A progressive program designed to meet the English language proficiency requirement for undergraduate admission at the University of Alberta.

you are looking to improve your English to meet the proficiency requirement for undergraduate admission at the University of Alberta.


When you successfully complete the courses in our English for Academic Purposes program - EAP 135, 140, and 145 - you will be able to synthesize and analyze information from a variety of sources, including academic journals and lectures, as well as material from more popular sources. 

You will also develop the skills to present their ideas, both written and verbally, in accordance with first year university standards.

EAP 135 and 140 are entry points into the program. Each course is two months in duration. For more information and prerequisites for each course, please visit the EAP courses page.
