As a member of the University of Alberta’s Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA), you can apply for funding toward learning opportunities and professional development.
What is HRDF?
The Human Resources Development Fund is a negotiated benefit between the University of Alberta and NASA. Each year, every eligible UAlberta employee qualifies for up to $750 towards courses, workshops, seminars, in-school apprenticeship training, or programs that will:
Enhance your capacity to perform work, or
Prepare you for an expanded or different role.
Next application cycle opens December 1
Funds are released four times per year on a first-come, first-approved basis each quarter, so be sure to apply as soon as the cycle starts! To be eligible, the professional development course must be taken within the designated quarter.
For courses that start between October 1–December 31 the application for HRDF opens on Saturday, December 1. Select your course now, so that you're ready to prepare & submit your HRDF application on “day one.”
