Resources for Researchers

Whether you are a student, academic scholar, or researcher working in government or the private sector, the Faculty of Extension is here to help. As leaders in community-engaged research and cross-disciplinary collaboration, our expertise is sought on a national and international level.

Partnerships: Here to Help

One of the most powerful testaments to the Faculty of Extension's academic and social impact is the continuously growing demand for our researchers' expertise in community-engaged research methods, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and research-to-practice. Our researchers are frequently asked to partner on research grants and projects, as well as to serve on community-based research, practice, and policy development committees, such as the EndPoverty Edmonton Task Force

Knowledge dissemination and mobilization are key aspects of Extension's strategic plan. Our researchers are working hard to translate their research findings into meaningful tools and resources for community members, academics, and policy-makers alike.

Browse our library of recently released Publications and Resources for Community for a snapshot of the reference material available to inform and support your work. Can't find what you're looking for? Many of our resources are developed based on need, stemming from requests from academic and community partners.
