Appointment of Director, Copyright Office
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Adrian Sheppard as Learning Services' new Director, Copyright Office.
Adrian joins the University of Alberta from his position as Director, Operations for the Graphics, Animation and New Media ("GRAND") Network of Centres of Excellence. His earlier experience as a research contracts officer with the Office of Research Services at Simon Fraser University has also prepared him well for the broad range of copyright issues arising from contemporary research, teaching, and learning practice. Adrian holds degrees from the Universities of Calgary and Victoria, including a Bachelor of Laws.
