Reading Circle – General

Conveners: Orla Ryan and Lorene Everett-Turner

The General reading group is one of two groups that meet throughout the year.  They meet in the fall to decide on a list of titles they will circulate among themselves during the year. The cost is divided equally among the group members, so that everyone has a chance to read all the books for the price of one. Each person gets a book to keep at the end of the year. Being a member of a Reading Circle is a great way to keep up to date with your reading and stay current with emerging authors. And of course you will never be short of a good book to read.

In September, after Wine and Cheese and Registration Event, the members of the general reading circle come together to choose the books for the following year. They are usually new releases from all categories – biography, history and general fiction.

Meetings: Meets once a year, usually in September at one of the conveners' homes
