Gourmet Dining

Now in its 19th year, the Gourmet Dining group meets evenings (Saturdays at 6:00 p.m.) at each other’s homes. Each dinner has a theme.  Themes this past year included: Recipes by Marcella Hazan (Italian), A Wee Scottish Dinner, Chinese Cuisine, Portuguese and recipes from the White Water cook books. Husbands/partners are encouraged to attend and help with the hosting duties. (Someone has to open the wine!) 12 ladies signed up for Gourmet Dining last year but with husbands involved, the numbers at the dinners are higher. For this reason, two houses are sometimes used. This interest group is a great way to meet other faculty members and taste interesting food and drink.
