Program Highlights

Family Medicine Residency program prides itself on being dynamic, flexible and innovative. Highlights of our program include special features, innovative academic curriculum, research opportunities and special events and conferences to enhance your learning experience. 

Special Events and Conferences

• In March, the yearly program-funded (non-industry) Resident Education Retreat is held in Jasper, Alberta;
• In June, we celebrate the completion of residency with a graduation dinner; and.
• In the Fall, residents sign up for the Wilderness Retreat which has been very popular every year;
• In addition, residents are entitled to $550 or $650 per year for conferences and textbooks etc.
