Functional Knee Injury Clinic

The Functional Knee Injury Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic that involves a sport and exercise medicine physician and a physiotherapist. The purpose of this clinic is to provide education and treatment to patients who have suffered an ACL injury but will benefit from conservative treatment rather than surgery. Typically, these patients are older in age with signs of osteoarthritis, place low demands on their knee and have no complaints of instability.

Referral is usually made from the sport and exercise medicine physician, a physiotherapist or an orthopedic surgeon in the Glen Sather Clinic.
