Young athletes who are suffering from acute injuries will benefit from the Glen Sather Clinic’s Acute Youth Injury Clinic.

The clinic is intended for those who will benefit from timely sports medical assessments and return to play recovery plans. The clinic is not intended for emergencies or traumatic injuries.

When does the clinic run?

The clinic runs on Friday mornings from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. If there is no availability, we will do our best to fit you in at another time during the week.

Who can access the clinic?

Youth athletes who are suffering from an acute injury sustained recently – ideally within the past week.

How does the clinic work?

The clinic is similar to a varsity/professional team model where athletes have expedited access to a sports physician. Our desire is to offer a similar service to youth athletes in the Edmonton community.

How can I make an appointment?

You, or your guardian, can self-refer. Please call 780-407-5160 to request an appointment.

Where is the clinic located?

At the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic, 2C/D Kaye Edmonton Clinic.
