Classes and Services for Patients

PRAC offers classes for patients to return to activity or sport safely and to prevent further injury. Classes are facilitated by a physiotherapist (physical therapist) and a kinesiologist. 

To register for the FAST Knee Program, please see your Glen Sather Clinic physiotherapist or physician for a referral. If you have already been approved for the FAST Knee Program, you can register by calling 780-407-5160 or emailing prac@ualberta.ca with "FAST Knee Program" in the subject line.

Functional Agility and Strength Training (FAST) Knee Program
For patients who have a soft tissue knee injury and are looking to safely return to activity or sport.

GLA:D Canada
Based on Good Life with Osteoarthritis in Denmark, the GLA:D Canada program is a nationwide evidence-based initiative that follows the current recommendations for the treatment of hip and knee osteoarthritis.

Performing Arts Clinic
The Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic's Performing Arts Clinic provides appropriate, timely musculoskeletal medical care to musicians, dancers and other performing artists at all levels.
