The GSA ERC meets at least one month prior to the opening of nominations for the GSA General Election to assist the CRO in the planning of election events, advises the CRO on all matters pertaining to the GSA General Election, reviews GSA Elections and Referenda Bylaw and Policy annually, and makes any recommendations for changes to GSA Council (Section I: Elections, GSA Policy, GSA Standing Committees, GSA Elections and Referenda Committee).

If standing for election to the GSA ERC, GSA ERC candidates agree not to campaign for or endorse any individual running in the General Election or by-election. GSA ERC members must also be neutral and impartial (eg having no immediate or vested interest in the outcome of GSA Elections and Referenda).” (Section I: Elections, GSA Policy, GSA Standing Committees, GSA Elections and Referenda Committee, section I.POL.18.1).
Note: Graduate students may not serve on both the GSA ERC and the GSA Appeals and Complaints Board (GSA ACB).
