Nominations are to be submitted by filling out this GSA nomination form and emailing it to gsa.nomcomm@ualberta.ca in advance of the deadline of Wednesday, 18 January 2023 at 12:00 PM (Noon). Nominations received will be circulated as submitted via email to GSA NoC.
Purpose:
Dr. Dale Askey was appointed as Chief Librarian in 2018. In accordance with University of Alberta policies and procedures, "a new [Chief Librarian] will be appointed for an initial term through the Faculty Deans Selection Procedure. Should the incumbent [Chief Librarian] be considered for reappointment for a subsequent term, this Faculty Deans Review Procedure will be employed."
Mandate:
The Faculty Deans Review Procedure directs the Mandate of this committee, as follows: The mandate of the Committee is to make recommendations to the Provost and President on the reappointment of an incumbent. To fulfill this mandate, the committee is charged with reviewing the performance of the incumbent, collecting feedback through broad consultation with stakeholders, and conducting an interview with the incumbent.Meetings:
