There are a variety of ways to get involved with the GSA and with student governance at the University of Alberta.
GSA Directly-Elected Officer Positions
You may consider serving as an elected graduate student leader, such as the GSA President or any of the four GSA Vice-Presidents.
The President and Vice-Presidents represent over 7,500 of their fellow graduate students and actively engage with the University about important matters affecting grad students (like tuition and funding) through their service on major University governing bodies and meetings with senior administration.
