Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that we have released our first high-level update on our work to achieve the goals outlined in our 2019-2020 GSA Strategic Work Plan. This update was presented to GSA Council at its 28 October 2019 meeting.
Key highlights include:
- Extensive work to introduce tangible mechanisms to address and improve student-supervisor relationships;
- Creating a Michener Park Transition Advisory Committee to plan for the supports needed for the upcoming closure of Michener Park in 2020;
- Advocacy for low-income housing options for graduate students;
- Launching an engagement strategy to connect with and support graduate student groups
