National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Graduate students are encouraged to mark this day

30 September 2022

On Friday, 30 September, the GSA joins the University community in marking the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and recognizing the legacy of the residential school system, and colonialism and its negative effects more broadly. Graduate students are encouraged to mark the day with self-reflection or by participating in the many local activities taking place that commemorate the history and legacy of residential schools. You can also learn more via the information circulated by Dr Florence Glanfield, Vice-Provost (Indigenous Programming and Research), to the campus community.
