Eligibility

  • Nominee must be in a post-graduate program in the Faculty of Education
  • Awarded on the basis of academic achievement
  • Awarded on the basis of a commitment to, and course work in, the education of gifted and talented children
  • This award is offered on the basis of the previous year's work and should be paid out as soon as acceptance form is received
  • Nominees convocating in Spring or Fall Convocation are eligible to hold this award
  • For the purpose of this award, "post-graduate" is defined as any student registered in a post-baccalaureate or graduate program
  • Open to Canadian citizens.
  • Open to permanent residents.
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
  • Open to applicants in masters programs.
  • Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.


How to apply

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
