Eligibility

  • Satisfactory Academic Standing
  • Faculty of Nursing
  • Nominee must be in their first or second year of the master's program
  • Nominee's program must be related to Public Health Nursing (including community, public health, or Aboriginal health)
  • Awarded on the basis of satisfactory academic achievement
  • Recipients may receive the scholarship more than once if successful in open competition
  • If there is no eligible Master of Nursing nominee in any given year, a full-time student in the Faculty of Nursing's PhD program will be considered
  • Open to Canadian citizens.
  • Open to permanent residents.
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
  • Open to applicants in masters programs.
  • Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
