International Student - Thesis Based

2019 - 2020 Academic Year Program Assessments
Admitted from Fall 2011 Onwards

The following program assessments are general guidelines for international students registered in thesis-based graduate programs and who were admitted from Fall 2011 onwards. If you are part of this student category, you are required to register and pay fees in all four terms throughout the year.

In Spring/Summer terms, thesis based students must pay their program fee and the UPass fee. If they choose to enrol in a NON-Thesis course for credit or audit, they will be charged additional course fees and non-instructional fees. See a sample assessment here.

International students who become Permanent Residents of Canada may be eligible for a reassessment of the differential fee. See the Change to Permanent Resident section for more information. 

Please note: Students enrolled in programs or courses with non-standard fees, for credit or audit, will incur additional charges.
