Career Development

There are many reasons why students find themselves pursuing a graduate degree, however, the two most common goals are to increase career opportunities and for career advancement.

The PhD Alumni study will provide some insight into where former alumni have landed positions. To assist you with exploring your career goals, we have partnered with the Career Centre on a number of initiatives as well have created IDPs, with virtual and online training, that will help you align your goals with your values. Please join the monthly round table career action discussions, participate in the career mentoring program, apply for a graduate student internship position (GSIP), review the entrepreneurship opportunities or make an appointment with a career advisor at the Career Centre as steps to move you towards your goal.
