About Us

The FGSR Community Volunteer Program connects graduate students to the greater community to share their research knowledge and experiences.

Whether it's visiting schools to judge science fairs or hosting a humanities conference, more than 500 graduate students volunteer in our activities each year, inspiring tomorrow's leaders and thinkers.

The FGSR Community Volunteer Program recruits volunteers from all disciplines to share their knowledge and experience with students in primary and secondary schools. This may be in the form of a guest lecture, a tour, or hands-on activity on campus or at your school. To learn more about our wide range of outreach activities, please see here.

The FGSR Community Volunteer Program is a free service made possible by the efforts of our graduate students, academics, post-doctoral fellows and alumni volunteers.
