Faculty + Staff Sessions


Do you need help guiding students through the
Professional Development Requirement ? The Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies is offering a two-part orientation series for faculty and staff.

Part 1 PD Requirement Orientation Information Session

In Part 1, you will be guided through the requirement, including an overview of the Individual Development Plan (IDP) , what does and does not count for the eight hours of professional development activities , and what role faculty and staff play in the requirement.

Part 2 How to Review a Student's IDP Session

Part 2 will give you an opportunity to hear from faculty who have reviewed the Individual Development Plan with students to allow you to learn about their experiences and to gain guidance on how to best execute the review process. It is recommended that participants attend a PD Requirement Orientation Information Session before this session.
