About Professional Development Week
The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research hosts a series of professional development sessions for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and the campus community twice a year in May and August. All sessions are free. Next sessions are Aug. 21 - 25, 2017.
What to expect for Professional Development Week
Invest in your future with valuable sessions that help you with your life goals. Sessions range from pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship and preparing for your defense to building working relationships and looking for work in Canada.

Note: Some sessions may be used towards the Ethics Credit and some sessions may be used towards the Professional Development (PD) Requirement. At the sessions eligible for Ethics and PD credit, you will be able to sign in online or have an FGSR representative sign your record of PD activities. All ethics and professional development sessions or activities must be approved by your department.
