About the Graduate Teaching and Learning Weeks  

The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research hosts a series of free teaching sessions open to the entire UAlberta campus community twice a year, in January and August/September. The next sessions are

What to expect for Graduate Teaching and Learning Weeks

Sessions include formal ethics and academic integrity training sessions, and a wide variety of teaching workshops. View program.

Join us for small group discussions at our Lunch Hour Round Table Teaching Sessions led by graduate students. Please RSVP for each round table you plan to attend. Space is limited.

 

Some sessions may be used towards the Ethics Training Requirement and all BUT the information session may be used towards the Graduate Teaching and Learning (GTL) Program and the Professional Development (PD) Requirement.

At the end of the sessions, eligible for Ethics or GTL and PD credit, you will be able to sign in online or have an FGSR representative sign your record of PD activities. All ethics and professional development sessions or activities must be approved by your department.
