Graduate Teaching and Learning Weeks

About Graduate Teaching and Learning (GTL) Weeks

The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research hosts a series of teaching sessions open to the entire UAlberta campus community twice a year, in May and August/September.  All sessions are free. Next sessions are Aug. 28 - Sept. 14, 2017. Check back in July for more information and to RSVP.

What to expect for Graduate Teaching and Learning Weeks

Sessions include information on using your voice and humour in the classroom to gamifying your course and preparing your teaching dossier. View past GTL Weeks.

Some sessions may be used towards the Ethics Credit and some sessions may be used towards the Professional Development (PD) Requirement. At the sessions eligible for Ethics and PD credit, you will be able to sign in online or have an FGSR representative sign your record of PD activities. All ethics and professional development sessions or activities must be approved by your department.
