    Dr. Kevin Haggerty is a Killam Research Laureate and editor of the Canadian Journal of Sociology and Professor of sociology and criminology at the University of Alberta. His research is in the area of surveillance, prisons, governance, policing and risk. He and his co-author (Aaron Doyle) have recently published the book 57 Ways to Screw Up in Graduate School (University of Chicago Press) which provides graduate students with concrete guidance on how to navigate graduate school. Professor Haggerty is the author or editor of an additional 8 books.
