Collaborative Health Education and Practice Group

The Collaborative Health Education and Practice Group (CHEPG) advises on the development and implementation of interprofessional education and practice opportunities and the integration of simulation experiences at the University of Alberta.


Interprofessional Clinical Coordinators Group

The Interprofessional Clinical Coordinators Group supports and promotes interprofessional learning within and across their own faculties and programs as well as with organizational partners. HSERC collaborates with committee members to develop and implement interprofessional educational practicum experiences at the University of Alberta.


Interprofessional Curriculum Group

The Interprofessional Curriculum Group develops and implements interprofessional educational experiences at the University of Alberta. Committee members support and promote interprofessional learning within their own faculties and programs.


Interprofessional Education Research and Evaluation Group

The Interprofessional (IP) Education Group conducts education research and evaluates interprofessional education experiences at the University of Alberta throughout the continuum of the Interprofessional Learning Pathway.


Interprofessional Education Student Collaborative Group

IPESCG (Interprofessional Education Student Collaborative Group) is a partnership between HSSA (Health Sciences Student Association) leadership, health sciences programs, and HSERC. This group is committed to supporting the development and implementation of interdisciplinary education and practice opportunities at the University of Alberta. It does this by establishing and promoting short- and long-term shared goals. IPE-SCG also serves as a forum for HSERC to obtain the student perspective on interdisciplinary health sciences education.

Bridge into Practice: Student Engagement with Interprofessional Curriculum Development
The group identified workplace readiness as a priority and engaged in curriculum design for Bridge into Practice, the capstone experience for the Interprofessional Learning Pathway. This document contains a brief overview of the work done by the 2019/2020 IPESCG members.
