HSERC is both an academic and a physical space where interprofessional education curriculum is researched, developed, evaluated and delivered.
We partner with health sciences programs to equip students with health team collaborative practice skills through interprofessional education.
Our sim lab offers innovative tools and flexible spaces to create and deliver challenging simulation activities.
A Standardized Patient is a healthy layperson who has been trained to portray a patient in a specific medical situation; SPs provide consistent, standardized learning experiences and are integral to objective pre-licensure assessments.
The Health Sciences Education and Research Commons (HSERC) builds strong partnerships across campus and sectors to develop and deliver collaborative practice education. We are pleased to highlight the organizations that make our work possible.
