This elective course is a unique opportunity for students to gain practical, immersive interprofessional experience within community partnerships. Students will enhance their collaborative skills and knowledge by building on the teamwork competencies introduced in INT D 410 or other courses/experiences.
Students will identify issues with community partners of interest, generate and explore potential interventions through interprofessional collaboration and critical discussion. Students will define and co-design a solution in collaboration with a community partner. The course will culminate with a presentation about their project.
The course involves online, face to face and onsite engagement.
The course is Credit/Non-credit and will provide the student with 1-3 credits upon successful completion.
Prerequisite: INT D 410 or approval of Department
