Constellation Conference 2016: History Through the Ages: History and Pop Culture

In our lineup this year we are pleased to include an exploration of Hercules and his pop culture representations; a history of Queer cinema; and many, many more presentations both historical and modern that range from Middle Eastern Harems to the shores of New York City.

18 April 2016

Keynote speaker Dr. Kelly MacFarlane
April 26, Tory 2-58, 10:00am-2:00pm

This year our journal had many excellent submissions that covered historical issues from the Greek and Roman periods to pop culture interpretations of historical events. In this year's conference, we will be exploring how historical research and writing changes when it is overlaid with a pop culture lens.

In our lineup this year we are pleased to include an exploration of Hercules and his pop culture representations; a history of Queer cinema; and many, many more presentations both historical and modern that range from Middle Eastern Harems to the shores of New York City.
