Are you interested in assisting our youth to promote and celebrate our history? Can you spare a couple of hours on a Saturday morning? The Edmonton Regional Heritage Fair is on May 7, 2016 and we need your help to act as one of our judges.

Heritage Fairs across the country focus on Canada's history and encourage students to explore Canadian heritage in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment. Students choose their own topic, research and write about the topic and then choose a format to present their project. Project topics are very diverse and may focus on history, heritage, geography or culture.

While non-competitive in nature, the Edmonton Regional Heritage Fair requires many adult volunteers to act as judges. Upon arrival at the site, judges are offered a light breakfast while they attend an orientation workshop. Judges are then supplied with all guides, forms, clipboards and other supplies needed in order to evaluate the student displays.

Each project will be judged by a panel of two or more judges. Since we expect over 100 projects, many judges (as many as 100) are necessary. It only takes one Saturday morning! Please help us by volunteering!
